Turned a million dollar company into the IRS!

I worked for an apartment complex that owned 2 properties. They had me labeled as an Independant Contractor. Soon after I was fired by the apartment manager I filed an SS-8 form to the IRS. I was mailed a letter that determined me to be an employee and that the company deliberatly labled their maintenance workers as Independant Contractors so they would not have to pay the taxes for having anyone as actual employees. They did however pay the taxes for the manager they have running their properties. I have now filed for unemployement benefits from the company. I have been told by the IRS and the unemployement office that I can now find an attorney to help me with vacation pay, sick pay, any insurance, or holiday pay that I was denied while working for their company. They have owned the company for more than 9 years and have labeled all of their maintenance workers as Independant Contractors so their are at least 10 people that I have found looking to find an attorney also to see what all of our options are. Thank you for your time.
